Lady Gaga won everything. If “video music award” were an abstract phrase and not a tangible thing, I feel like it would be a good way to describe Lady Gaga. She kind of IS a video music award, no?

I didn’t watch the VMAs, I kind of ignored them, actually. but I have to wonder — is it really notable to sweep every category when there’s so little competition?
